Speaker: Gary Edwards
Gary Edwards will be speaking on his recent project for CMTV. Gary has been filming multiple episodes for the reading of “Echo of the TomToms”. The story is about real life romance between Blue Bird, a Colville Spokane Indian, and Dr Fred Perkins. The couple experienced resistance from the communities in their efforts to marry. It is a story about the challenges in assimilation of the Indian culture with that of the American culture.
Gary is a Film Alliance member and Board Member who represents the musical endeavors and talents of our group. He has written and produced many projects, musical scores, plays, and is a volunteer at Community Minded TV.
